Stan's Auto Service / Stan's Tires For Less

I would leave zero stars if I could…..we took our car in there for a problem with the door handle not working and got it back and called the same day because the same problem was happening. They told us to bring it back so they could fix it, we weren’t able to get there right away but brought it back today and they tried to charge us for the same exact part we just paid for last time that didn’t get fixed and then apologized and said they would do it. They called back again and now said there is nothing they can do that it is working properly when clearly you have to pull the handle wayyy up to get the door to open so it’s not working properly. So pretty much they screwed us out of $450 and didn’t fix a thing. I don’t know if they ever even looked at anything or what but it should be able to be fixed so either they just didn’t want to work on it since they already got our money or the mechanic is not knowledgeable to fix it. Either way, avoid this place. There’s much better mechanics out there. Call TLC auto in Akron. They’re amazing!

When people say support local, this is the kind of place you should be supporting. Exceptional customer service is a complete understatement. Erica is who I have had the pleasure of working with multiple times has continuously gone above in beyond in every single interaction. They are extremely fairly priced and put so many corporate auto shops to shame. Humans work there and they treat you like humans not just customers. 15 out of 10 would recommend!!!

Brought my vehicle here because I thought I needed breaks done & Erica called stating they didn’t need changed yet & still had life to them! They are so honest and I appreciated that so much! Would HIGHLY RECOMMEND to anyone needing car services!!! I will absolutely be coming back when my breaks do actually need done. Thankful for the good people that work here. 5 stars all the way around!

I cannot say enough good things about this shop, their employees, their work and their integrity! They are kind and honest people. Every single time we’ve brought ours cars here for repairs or tires, we are always given an honest and fair price, they never push things that don’t need fixed, they’re fast, and they go above and beyond for people. I had a bit of a personal emergency and needed something out of my car and they made it happen even though it wasn’t in their regular hours. The relief I felt knowing that I could access what I needed literally left me in tears. These people are the real deal, and Erica, you’re an earth angel!! We are Stan’s fans for life!

Update 02/15/2026: I recently returned my vintage Honda Civic to Stan's for some additional maintenance (struts, shocks, wheel alignment, TPMS sensor) along with diagnosing an EVAP issue. Once again, I was impressed by the staff and technicians at Stan's as they went above and beyond to identify this issues and suggest needed repairs. They do thorough work, communicate well, and are very reasonably priced. I always appreciate the fact that unlike many other shops they don't try to "upsell" anything you don't need. If you're looking for an independent shop with nice folks who do great work, look no further than Stan's. Original review: First time customer, I took my "vintage" Honda Civic to Stan's for a persistent check engine light. They did a thorough job of diagnosing the issue, which turned out to be the cat converter and some O2 sensors, all of which didn't surprise me as they were all original parts after 250000+ miles. They provided a very reasonable quote for the work and were able to get me scheduled and work completed within a short amount of time. And, they didn't try to "upsell" anything and only recommended what I needed to be safe and back on the road. Erica and their
